A fire broke out in the south-east part of Delhi’s PS Seemapuri building at around 8.35 pm on Sunday night. A resident of the police colony located in the complex informed the duty officer. The duty officer informed SHO Seemapuri and he along with the staff reached the south-east side of the Seemapuri building and found that three floors of the south-east part of the building were on fire.
The control room and fire brigade were immediately informed. Six fire tenders arrived and extinguished the fire. The stairs of the Malkhana and the adjacent rooms have been damaged in the fire incident. A more detailed analysis of the damaged property will be conducted after the fire is completely extinguished.
